Hand Saddle Stitch Collections

Welcome to the Oxbow Leather Hand Saddle Stitch Collection. We offer some of our leather goods made with a hand saddle stitch.  The history of the hand saddle stitching technique goes back to saddle makers. The technique can take hours to complete, as each hole is first punched using saddle chisels.  The leather good is then placed on a sewing pony and each stitch is performed by hand the old fashion way, one stitch at a time. We use Ritza Tiger thread that is 100% polyester imported from Germany.  When ordering from a Hand Saddle Stitch leather good, please allow 1-2 weeks to complete the order.
